Re: Version 1.5.7 -- OpenWRT "Attitude Adjustment"
Any feedback on the Netgear 3700v2 performance and stability using V1.5.7? Should I wait for the final release? I'm really interested in wifi stability and range in the hopes it will improve over 1.4.6

WNDR3700 Wireless Problem
I notice that I have my WNDR3700V2 channel width set at 40MHz, second channel below and the channel set to 7. When I use Inssider to examine the wireless space I can see another router with 7+11 and the max bandwidth at 300 but mine indicates 7 with max bandwidth 130. I was thinking that mine should...

Wireless N Dropouts
I notice that if I configure my 3700v2 for wireless n 300 (channel 1 with second channel above) I get periodic disconnections from a wireless laptop as well as a wired PC. For some reason the connection to the internet disappears but then eventually comes back. This does not seem to happen when it's...

Re: (updated) Extremely Slow Wireless, Please help.
You'll need to post your settings, including QoS if you have it turned on. I have the 3800 and it's working fine. I don't get 300 Mbps but that's because I don't have any Wireless n devices capable of supporting that. All the wireless n devices I have can only support 150 Mbps.

Re: WR1043ND Antennas
Not the expert but 7 in binary is 111, which seems to imply that three antennas are used for transmit and three for receive.

Re: Wifi problem with WR1043ND
I had similar problems, I set up the router so that it rebooted once a day at 05:00. Took most of the problems away.

Check out the Installation guide, there is a link to a bin file that has the stock firmware for 1043ND.

Re: Next release
The QoS for 1.4.7 seems to work pretty well. I have VoIP and making calls while torrents are running and other people on the lan, there are no problems with the voice breaking up.newtogarg wrote:Btw, on a side note, hows the 1.4.7 stable build? Does the QoS work?
