Re: Downgrade Netgear WNDR3700v1
Hi gang, I went ahead and tried to flash the sysupgrade firmware version of my router and it worked. Downgraded to version 1.4.7.
Since then, my router hasn't rebooted in 2 days and it's been rock solid. With version 1.5.9, it was rebooting every 12 hours.

Re: Youtube slow downs fix
Hi powerlogy, sorry for my ignorance, but do I go through the ssh connecting to the router to enter those commands in the file /etc/firewall.user or just enter the ip addresses, or just go through the GUI and enter the ip addresses in a the firewall?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Need Gargoyle Firmware Plugins explanation
Hi, I've been using the Gargoyle Firmware version 1.59 for about 3 weeks and how or where can I implement new plugins? Or are there any new plugins to implement? Right now, In the plugins menu, I only see new themes as plugins. Are these the only ones available now? Also, what are the .zip files tha...

Youtube slow downs fix
Hi, I've been reading around the web concerning Youtube being slowed down by ISPs or that Youtube cache servers are just slow. If I would like to block certain IP adresses at the router level, how would I go about to implement this? I have a Netgear WNDR3700v1 with Gargoyle version 1.59. Here are th...

Re: 2.4 & 5 Ghz wireless settings, no 300Mbps
Hi drawz, I tried all channels, 1, 6, 11, even 3 to no success. My neighbours are all on 6 and only one on 8.
It was ok when I was on version 1.58. Just will have to wait when the next version comes out.
Thanks for your help.

Re: 2.4 & 5 Ghz wireless settings, no 300Mbps
Hi drawz, I changed my channel to channel 1 on the 2.4 ghz, rebooted the router and it still showing a maximum speed of 133 mpbs. But the 5 ghz is showing as 300 mbps. At Gargoyle version 1.58, I was able to have both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz at 300 mbps each. My router is a Netgear WNDR3700v1 with the lat...

Re: 2.4 & 5 Ghz wireless settings, no 300Mbps
Hi, I'm interested in this too since I seem to be not getting 300 mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Only the 5 GHz frequency I'm getting 300 mbps. I tested this using the inSSIDer tool on my wife laptop. I'm on channel 3 on the 2.4 GHz frequency and channel 48 on the 5 GHz frequency, does that matter? ...
