Re: Fon2100 only works with 1.2.5 firmware
I know, it has been many posts stating that, however, from my personal experience 1.5.6 works as good as 1.2.5 plus the network perfomance in the wifi radio is way better (100 KB / sec more) in client bridge with same network setup

Fon2100 only works with 1.2.5 firmware
Hello, After several days of flashing and trying I realised that the most stable / performance firmware for my Fon2100 is gargoyle_1.5.6. I am using it as a wireless bridge repeater I wanted to move it to another place and I ssh into the box and performed a poweroff. When it came up it did not opera...

Re: Best/Stable Gargoyle version for Fonera 2100
Still looking some firmware stable to use my fonera as a stable wireless repeater Foneras 2100 only have 16 MB of RAM. Even in 1.2.5 you keep receiving messages like : Virtual device ath0 asks to queue packet! Reading in the openwrt forums is memory related. Wondering which services can I disable to...

Re: Install gargoyle in Tecom from OpenWrt
Bump!
If I was able to boot:
openwrt-96358GW-squashfs-dsl2740b-cfe.bin
Should I be able to boot a Gargoyle firmware based on that one?

Re: DHCP w/ Wireless Bridge not working
Looks like it is not possible to make dhcp server inside the router in client bridge mode due to mac limitations

You need to connect via WDS if you want to achieve this.

Another device in the network? In my case I am using it as a client. Can the gargoyle as as a client and a dhcp server for the only client connected?

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
Is not 1.5.8 too bloated for Fon2100 with 16MiB Ram?.
does then 1.5.8 have regulatory domain by default or do I need to mod it as well to have 13th channel?

Re: Allow Channels 12,13,14 based on country (*MOD*)
I plan to do this for my fon2100 in the version 1.2.5 (stable)
I read that the only way is compiling from source. I plan to do this, but I have questions.
Where in the code can I modify this?
What architecture do I need to build?
Regards,
