Re: How to re-launch menuconf
It will recompile EVERYTHING. That's why deleting custom-src is not the ideal method to do this because you can't do a quick recompile like what I can do with Openwrt... there must be a better way that I don't know.. Arrghg, that's such a pain in the proverbial, my Ubuntu virtual machine takes abou...

Re: How to re-launch menuconf
Ericwong, Thank you very much for documenting this. I was just going to post the same question. How about copy & paste it to a wiki page? (as we say overhere give 'em a hand a they'll take the arm ;) ) Now, two questions for you or anyone else kind enough to enlighten us, see if I can gather som...

Git repo not accessible
Hi all, I'm trying to build my own image to compile with CONFIG_ATH_USER_REGD=y to enable channels allowed in EU that aren't available in the US-centric default build. I'm following the documentation but he git repository is not accessible when I try to clone it, times out after a while with a conne...

Re: Version 1.5.7 -- OpenWRT "Attitude Adjustment"
Another one requesting feedback on 1.5.7 Attitude Adjustment running on a Netgear WNDR3700 v1 . I'm currently on 1.5.4, only using "basic wireless router" features (no VPN, no USB, no QoS) Has wireless performance improved over that of v1.5.4? I often find the latter quite poor, particular...

Re: Choosing country-codes
I strongly subscribe this one. We should be able to use all legally available 5GHz channels for EU countries. My flat is on the 9th floor of one of the tallest buildings on the neighbourhood. I pick up tons of wlans from the living room and even more from the balcony. The 2.4GHz band is seriously ov...

Re: Feature request: Wifi On/Off Scheduling
Many thanks, that page wasn't on the wiki last time I looked!
That's good enough for me although as usual some people might prefer to do it through the web UI instead of fiddling around with the crontab.

Feature request: Wifi On/Off Scheduling
Hi all, Would it be possible to implement wifi scheduling to turn on/off the wireless interfaces at specific times and days of the week? I think people may find this useful in a number of ways: 1- Allows internet access control to wifi-connected devices 2- Saves energy and EMF-exposure* when wifi is...
