Re: Netgear WNDR3700 V2 LED is orange/amber--Not Gigabit?
In 1.5.10 (maybe 1.5.9), you can see the reported speed that the underlying OS uses on the Status page. Note: when some of my machines go to sleep, the speed reported changes. Status.jpg I know this is an older post. I have a WNDR3700 V4 running Gargoyle 1.81 but I don't see this on the status page...

Re: Wake on WAN doesn't work
You can also use the file rc.local to put in these commands if you wish.
The only thing I have noticed, is if you change your config, and save, the permanent status of the IP address will not remain unless you reboot your router. So, if it stops working for some reason, probably need to reboot it!

Re: Startup Scripts
I am no expert, especially in Linux, but I just did this to enable WOL from the internet on my WNDR3700. First you have to SSH into the router (I use putty). cd to /etc/init.d use Vi (text editor) to edit a file called "done". Add your commands into this file. I understand that commands in...

Re: Feature and DynDNS BUG
I have been unable to set up Freedns.afraid.org. I know I am putting all the info in correctly (other routers with DD-WRT is the same), but it always fails. Frustrating that it then deletes all the info, and you have to start all over again if it's unsuccessful on the update. Running Gargoyle 1.5 on...

Re: WNDR3700 Gargoyle Crashes my Client?!
Well, gonna be out on the road for a couple of weeks, so won't be able to do much further testing for awhile. In a way, it would be more for curiosity than necessity, as I CAN configure Gargoyle with my Laptop, and it is running fine now. I certainly didn't intend to ruffle feathers here, only to as...

Re: WNDR3700 Gargoyle Crashes my Client?!
Guys..I am having a hard time believing this too. As I said, never seen this one before, and I've been using these things for some years! So, just to test, flashed back to the stock firmware with tftp (even did it on the machine that crashes if I use the Web GUI). Went fine. Did a 30/30/30 reset. Lo...

WNDR3700 Gargoyle Crashes my Client?!
Never have seen this one before. Have a WNDR3700 V1. Bought almost a year ago, but sitting waiting for someone to write firmware that has a working QOS (tried all of them!) and finally tried out Gargoyle and it works great!! WooHoo!! Now my E3000 will be going in the closet. Anyhow, upgrade to Gargo...
