I will use these links tonight to load Gargoyle.
Can I ask does this then commit me to any future updates needing to come from lede and not the standard Gargoyle site?

Re: Archer C5 / C7
I think I better leave this.
If i understand, i can flash DD-WRT. But then can I flash 1.9.1 factory image per Gargoyle site?
Or do I have to use the Lede project image? Then which one. I am in Australia, not US or EU.
Thank you

OK, just been reading what I should have read before posting.
The C5 is Broadcom based so no Gargoyle.
Can my question still stand re the C7 please.

Archer C5 / C7
Hi all, I have been using Netgear WNDR 3700 and 3800's for a while. It's time to upgrade the 3700 as a precaution. It's at a remote site so I would rather not have it fail. I have been looking at the TP Link Archer C5 as an option. the TP Link site states there is a V1 and a V2 version of this route...

Re: How to realize dropbear with public key authentication?
I have just set up 1.8.1 on a WNDR3800 and found I had to create /root/.ssh and copy authorized_keys to there to get public key authentication working.
It's now working fine

WNDR4300?
Is this router supported or going to be?
It seems to have the same Atheros SOC as the tplink 3600 or 4300
