Re: Wireless MAC Filter on wr1043nd at 1.5.4
when i pressed "Save change", the setting can't apply... It made me very inconvenient because some unknown device can use my wifi. plx fix I did just test it and it is working fine, if you press "Add New Rule", but it is not working, if you try to enter it directly onto the main...

Re: system/kernel log
It can be a normal computer, but should be connected through an ethernet cable (to make sure that there is no disconnects).antony84 wrote:I don't have log server. So, i cannot view anyone log?
You can also connect to the router with ssh and run
Code: Select all
logread -f

Re: Version 1.5.4 & 1.4.7
I have really enjoyed this firmware, the QOS is the best that I have used. I have been having issues and trying to determine if it is my router going bad (I have a WNDR3700V1) ... I'm having a problem with my WNDR3700 V1 as well. 1.5.3 shows both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios. 1.5.4 only showed the 2.4Ghz...

Re: Packages
Ok. I guess I am wrong about wget anyways. There is a package for it, but it is also part of busybox. I guess I am not too concerned if the project is just using the same packages as the default for backfire. Yes, but then you can say... The "stable" BusyBox of backfire is BusyBox 1.15.3 ...

Re: Packages
Gargoyle is using the latest stable OpenWRT built packages.
You could try to see if you can use the latest experimental OpwnWRT packages, but it is on your own risk.

Re: How to configure/autostart samba daemon?
You can set it up (Through the commandline) on the same way as on OpenWRT backfire (the latest branch).

Re: SWAP formatting is not working
This makes sense But from the point of a novice user with no SSH access we need ................ Yes, I see the problem. Did you remove the shared disk before you did repartitioning the HDD? If you already have a shared disk setup, do I not think that it is enough "just" to unmount what i...

Re: SWAP formatting is not working
You have maybe not removed the share before making the changes on the HDD?

Re: SWAP formatting is not working
... see no change to the drive format3.png ... The partitioning process has not worked at all for you, as you can see, is the partition still fat32 and not ext4 that gargoyle creates. And it looks like you have several partitions on your HDD (see sda5). If I where you, could I enter the routers thr...
