Shameless Bump
Is no-one apart from me interested in this idea?

Wish/idea: blocking in /etc/hosts
I just stumbled upon this: http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/ and though it'd be nice to have something like that on the router in a idiot-proof way. Think AdBlock subscriptions, only subscribing to such 'hosts' files like the one mentioned here and a nice interface to edit or add custom lines. I tri...

Re: Deleted from Wikipedia? WTF?
The easiest was IMHO is to get a user to propose to write a review for a magazine like Linux Magazine, Linux User, Linux Journal etc.
...you'd be surprised how easy it is to get an article there — just ask them. (and you get paid as well)

Re: Deleted from Wikipedia? WTF?
From what I noticed (in an unrelated similar case), Wikipedia moderators are not really in favour of people writing entries of their own work. If you guys feel the deletion was wrong, there's the official "Resolving Disputes" entry here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Resolving_dis...

Re: Znc on Gargoyle
Oh, cool. Thanks
Sadly I figured out that maybe it would be overkill for the resources (RAM), so I'll leave it be for now.

Re: Installing on Linksys WRT160NL?
Thanks :) I went and opened up and prepared a DE-9 cable just in case, but I didn't need it in the end. To some extend that's a pity, I had a nifty plan how to create a USB → upside-down RJ45 serial cable ;) Anyway in my case I first went from DD-WRT to OpenWRT and then to Gargoyle (gargoyle_1.3.16-...

Znc on Gargoyle
I'm thinking of running Znc on my router and I'd like to know what the Proper Way(TM) would be to install it. I've read that OpenWRT uses 'opkg' for a package manager, but I don't know which package(s) to download from where and what to watch out for. My gut feeling says to get the needed packages f...

Installing on Linksys WRT160NL?
I'm thinking of switching our home Linksys WRT160NL from DD-WRT to Gargoyle, and would like to know how it's done right. Since on this website I haven't seen any howto for this router, I've searched a bit around the OpenWRT website and irc://irc.freenode.net/#openwrt and became a bit scared by menti...
