HP USB printer
Hello, I'm trying to print from windows 10 on a HP P1006 LaserJet through a LINKsys AC1900 router. I setup a new port following this instructions: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=usb_attached_printer This is my setup: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/xtn49yIgTJnJRgHLZjxGUGHY-8IusZ7...

Re: Best router for range
Hello, are these two routers compatible with Gargoyle?
TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 Smart WiFi Router
TP-Link AC4000 Tri-Band WiFi Router (Archer A20)
I can't find an up-to-date list of compatible routers. thanks.

Best router for range
Hello, my Linksys wrt1900ac router seems to have gone caput. I definitely want to stay with something that can use Gargoyle. I need something with large range. I have a Wi-Fi security camera at end of my yard (about 70 yards away) and the wrt1900ac signal makes it that far but not strong enough for ...

Re: Connecting one router to another via cable
If you left the address as 192.168.2.1 then chances are it's still set to that. To access it you'll need to assign a device a static address in the 192.168.2.x range and then plug into the LAN of the device and attempt to access it. So, for example, set a laptop's IP address to the static IP of, sa...

Re: Best wifi gargoyle Router
Hello, by "horse power" do you mean transmission power?
My linksys WRT1900AC does not have very good coverage.
I've been looking at tp-link c7 suggested by @ispyisail.
Would that give better coverage? Or is there a more powerful Gargoyle router that can blast through walls?

Re: Connecting one router to another via cable
Hi Lantis, thanks so much for the education about the speed I should expect at 2.4ghz. Regarding finding my downstream router - yes, as soon as I find it, I will assign static IP. But it's uncanny, I went through every unknown ip address in the Connected Hosts page of the upstream router but no luck...

Re: Connecting one router to another via cable
Hi Lantis, I followed you instructions: 1. I CONNECT VIA under INTERNET /WAN to DISABLED. 2. disabled DHCP > LAN DHCP ENABLED 3. Connected cable coming from upstream router to a LAN port of the downstream router (instead of its WAN port). So now NSA3 (the downstream router) is broadcasting. But two ...

Connecting one router to another via cable
Hello, I've been using Gargoyle's Wireless Bridge/Repeater function in order rebroadcast the wifi from the building next door. Both routers are linksys wrt1900ac. https://nimbus-screenshots.s3.amazonaws.com/s/b50cd006bff56f0990d7a235287a983b.png . The highest speed I ever got was about 18mbps. Now I...

Re: DDNS not working
Hi Lantis, very good advice. I was successful with this: https://nimbus-screenshots.s3.amazonaws.com/s/90b03e702c0cf6ed85472f0bb2be7f7f.png https://mypublicIP:4443 now takes me to Router 2. RomanHK, I also tried forwarding to 192.168.2.1 (which would have been ideal, since it's static) but I get ERR...
