If you dont have a modem, where does your internet come from? What I'm saying is you should remove Gargoyle from the equation entirely to find out if it really is causing you the issue. Its an outbound connection, so I would not have thought so. What does your network look like? The fastest test would be to plug directly into the modem to eliminate Gargoyle.
