Re: IPV6 over RNDIS

Did you keep settings moving to this version? You've got some ugly stuff going on with both ifname and device defined for wan and wan6. No but I did have to edit network to get the VLAN of 2 on the wan port, so that my isp would connect, they seem to have gotten left behind when I switched it to th...

Re: IPV6 over RNDIS

Gday Lantis, Running 1.14 on one of my Netgear WNDR3800. Tested it originally with my ISP and IPV6 works as expected, thought to try it with my mobile, I have IPV4, but IPV6 does not seem to work via Gargoyle, if I plug the phone into the VM directly IPV6 seems work normally. Something I have notice...

IPV6 over RNDIS

Does ipv6 work over a Mobile connection. It seems to show a IPV6 address in the status screen, but sites like
https://ipv6-test.com/ and
http://test-ipv6.com/
say its not supported. Connect the mobile directly to computer and the same sites say it is supported.

Re: Hostname in active quota list

If you use the DHCP assign static IP, to assign the IP address's then when you add the IP's to the Quotas, active quota section, you add them as individual IP's instead of a range, the Hostname from the Static IP's will show in the Quota Usage section.

Re: Ability to save different connection methods

You can figure this out yourself using the config Backup function (in System -> Backup / Restore) - the backup output is an archive of all the core config files so you can compare each file for changes across the exported backups. Good idea If you don't change frequently, you may find it sufficient...

Re: Ability to save different connection methods

If I was to "hack" my own method of saving various configs, which files would I need to worry about, so far I believe I would need to create backups of network and wireless, from the /etc/config folder.

Ability to save different connection methods

Wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to save different connection methods, so they can be switched between when required. Example, if you use pppoe wired as your normal connection, then it goes down and you switch to tethered mobile, when you switch back to pppoe you have to configur...

Re: OpenVPN app has broken my openvpn connection

Thanks for the info, may have to do the upgrade, painful as it may be.
Out of curiosity, how many of the vulnerabilities can be attacked from the WAN side of things?

The link gives a security warning.
It's seem that was caused by OpenDNS, Google DNS worked normally

The link gives a security warning.

I would upgrade but it's a lot or work to configure everything again. I am also extremely sick of constant updates from everything else that I dread all updates. Because of what will they break next.

What vulnerabilities are in 1.12, anything serious?
