Re: ghost hostname
It may have cleared out by now It wasn't in /tmp/dhcp.leases and I couldn't find /tmp/dhcpv4configleases.gargoyle I'll have to try and get 172.16.0.21 allocated again to to see if it come up with the hostname Brother. Ok I set a VM IP to 172.16.0.21 and sure enough, in the connected hosts screen, ho...

ghost hostname
Weird issue I noticed recently. I connected a Brother printer to my network and it was allocated an IP address via DHCP (in this case it was 172.16.0.21 and the Brother hostname was listed under connected hosts), I later changed the IP address via assign static IP address under DHCP. I rebooted thin...

Re: Force DHCP leases to expire?
Came looking for an answer to this question myself, the best I have come up with is to reboot the router and reboot the device that has changed IP. If you want it to get a specific IP, static assign the IP to the devices MAC address and do the above process.

Re: Port Forwards between versions
I did a test rule in 1.13 and compared it to the 1.12 rule, I did not see option family 'ipv4' for some reason. I have just done the test rule again, and I do see it now. Strangely the port forwards still worked without it. By worked my web server was still reachable, through the 1.13 gargoyle. I al...

Port Forwards between versions
I have found what file the Port Forwards are stored in 1.12.0 and tried copying them in to the same file on 1.13.0. They seem to work, would there be any issue with doing that?

Re: IPV6 on WNDR3800
There something else going on as well, randomly out of the blue, it loses internet, and I can no longer ping the router. All the lights look normal. Reboot doesn't help and my only choice is factory reset.

Re: IPV6 on WNDR3800
Under Internet / WAN on Gargoyle next to the isp login details there is Connect via DHCPV6 and below there is a space for a IP address, which I presume should be a IPV6 address which is empty, despite the status page showing a number of IPV6 address's though none seem to line up with what see when I...
