Re: Wireless fails after Restore Configuration
I seem to have the same issue. Same router. Using stable firmware 1.4.7. Haven't tested as comprehensively but restored backup config and no wi fi. Edit. Updated for results of suggested commands using ssh - root@Gargoyle:~# uci show network network.loopback=interface network.loopback.ifname=lo netw...

Re: [SOLVED] TP Link WR1043ND - Setting up
fidjit Glad to see Dorito's firmware is working for you. I'm not so lucky . Reflashed last night, within 24 hours was having wireless connectivity issues again and after a reboot it lost my PPOE login details  Back to my WRT54G V2.2 with Gargoyle again, but that seems to have wireless issues a...

Re: [SOLVED] WR1043ND - wifi requires voodoo to switch channels

It doesn't seem to be working for me and I just want to confirm if its an issue with my setup or the build. Also - Can anybody advise whether the current official builds have addressed the ...

Re: [SOLVED] WR1043ND - wifi requires voodoo to switch channels
Just to say I have installed Dorito's build and I'm really happy with the router performance. For more detail, see my post here - http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1358&p=6422#p6422 Re - Belbo can you see connected hosts with Doritos' build ? Yes. Thanks. I can see eve...

Re: TP Link WR1043ND - Setting up
Just an update to say I reinstalled the stock firmware and then flashed dorito's factory.bin. I'm very pleased with how this router is performing. It turns out that the eeepc I'm using as a mythtv frontend in the bedroom is actually the 1000HE (not the 901 as stated previously - not good working and...

Re: [SOLVED] Bricked router restoring incompatible settings ?
May I suggest putting a warning about this on the "restore configuration" page of the interface?

Re: TP Link WR1043ND - Setting up
Thanks. give what Doritos suggested to me a go I am planning to do so. Only concern with downloading and installing that is that there are no md5sums to check against. I would suggest running the router and thus everything else in your network in wireless G mode (not N) as well. Will give that a go....

Re: TP Link WR1043ND - Setting up
Thanks. I will give the stock firmware a go, but the whole point in buying this router was because it was in the list of working and tested routers for gargoyle - which is what I want to use. The issue isn't related to the pc being slow, since it works fine with the WRT54GL. (The WRT54GL isn't invol...

Re: TP Link WR1043ND Factory or Sysupgrade from stock?
Thanks. What would be the best way for me to rectify? Is it best to go back to stock and then install using the factory.bin? Presumably I shouldn't install factory.bin from the sysupgrade.bin gargoyle install I currently have? How do we correct the installation instructions, or advise the right peop...
