Re: "GL-inet Domino Core" target

Depends on whether the device was supported in Openwrt back in barrier breaker (14.07). If yes, it should be no problem, but not something I’m going to explore sorry. I leave it to you. I only provided the above build because i had literally just finished a build which happened to contain it. Happy...

Re: "GL-inet Domino Core" target

Thank you for your responses,

I tested the FW you build and it seems to work fine. The only issue is that the bridge works with relayd in layer 3.

To solve that problem (to turn to layer 2), do you see possible to compile Gargoyle 1.8.1 for the "Domino" target?

Best regards,
Jon

Re: "GL-inet Domino Core" target

Being a dev board its use cases are probably pretty limited and not mainstream. But, i have just tested it and it compiles. So if you want to maintain your own version that is entirely doable. Here's one you could try to begin with. http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/gl-inet-domino/ Ok Lantis...

"GL-inet Domino Core" target

Hello, I'am actually working with OpenWRT in my module, but I found too heavy and I would like to use Gargoyle.

Would be possible to implement the target GL-inet Domino Core to the lastest Gargoyle version?

Thanks in advance.

Re: I need help with compilation

The issue is that I have a very limited amount of IPs for my computers. With the OpenWRT bridged in layer 3 I will need to reserve two IP per computer (PC IP and Wi-Fi module IP), while with layer 2 bridge they only need to assign one IP address (PC IP) because it is a totally transparent bridge. WD...

Oh, its sad to listen that, I thought it was posible with the source code available.
Why did gargoyle turn from layer 2 bridge to layer 3? Isn't that a step back?

Thank you

I need help with compilation

I'am Jon from Spain and I would greatly appreciate your help. Currently it is developed the version 1.10.0 for the GL_AR150 WiFi module (gargoyle_1.10.0-ar71xx-generic-gl_ar150-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin). I have the issue that 1.10.0 version performs the bridge between wireless and wired interfaces in...
