Gargoyle with Sagecom F@ST3864V3AC
My internet provider (Optus) forces us to use a crappy Sagecom F@ST3864V3AC router and I would like to use Gargoyle instead. I have previously successfully done this but while I was away Optus came to my house and replaced their modem and ruined my setup. I am now struggling to make the internet wor...

Re: Ping Watchdog
Great guide!
I don't suppose anyone has created custom script already that sends an email with a few logs before the drop-out occurred?
or even a simple script that sends just an email?

Caching Websites?
It seems that some websites are caching and I'm unable to clear the cache. I'm guessing it has something to do with the gargoyle because every device connected to the network is seeing the same thing, once we connect to a different network it's fine. I tried changing DNS from my ISP to OpenDNS and G...

Re: 5GHz Not Working?
I'm pretty sure it's the bug Lantis mentioned above as I'm using a WRT1900 series router (Linksys WRT1900ACS) with Gargoyle 1.10.0 and android devices on the network.d3fz wrote:What's the model of your router?
What Gargoyle version you're on?

Re: 5GHz Not Working?
There are multiple android devices on the network so i guess they are interfering with the 5ghz connection and not allowing computers to connect either.
Thanks for the information!
I'll test once the update is available.

Re: 5GHz Not Working?
Thanks! Just for anyone else who is having this issue. I installed webshell and systems logs (easier) from the plugin section and logs show: daemon.info hostapd: wlan1: STA x:x:x:x:x:x WPA: pairwise key handshake completed (RSN) daemon.info hostapd: wlan1: STA x:x:x:x:x:x IEEE 802.11: disassociated ...

Re: 5GHz Not Working?
Thanks for checking.
Is there a way to view logs via GUI or is the only way to SSH into the router?

5GHz Not Working?
The 5GHz wifi connections was working for about a week after I began using Gargoyle but then it randomly stopped working without anyone changing anything. The connection appears in the wifi list but no device is able to connect to it. I tried resetting the settings in Gargoyle and the entire router ...

Re: WRT1900ACS Ver2 DD-WRT to Gargoyle?
Many thanks Lantis!
Sorry I was under the impression that I had to go to OpenWRT first and then to Gargoyle but now I understand that I can go directly to Gargoyle from the original WRT1900ACS firmware with the download you provided.
