Re: Can't set the time on the router
Same issues-sorta time sync through GUI not working / was set properly (UTC -5 Eastern Time) using google time sync server and ca.ntp.org pools 0/1 via FQDN at first and then IP - nothing would make the time change to be proper - I don't have to tell anyone who knows what kind of f**ked up issues th...

Re: Disable Time Sycnronization/Time Server
Thank You Lantis. That seemed to have worked just fine. After reboot no port 123 connections in my main firewall. Is this a permanent change insofar as it will stick even if I press save changes on the time interface webpage? Because the web interface shows time server that same as when it was enabl...

Disable Time Sycnronization/Time Server
Hi,
I would like to be able to disable this server but cannot see a way to do it within the gargoyle interface.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
J

Re: Question about data rate differences between 2 brands of AC1750 router.
Hey thanks for answering. Yes, I figured that out a few weeks ago once I did more research on the internet. Thanks for answering you were absolutely right-I move all three AP's to the same channel (157 I think it is) and now all three AP's are running at 1300 mbs data rate. It's pretty awesome actua...

Re: DHCP keeps turing itself on?
Gargoyle Version:1.9.2 I have been messing around a lot with it and two other AP's. Although I swear I left the dhcp server off and made no other changes that last time-except to add a bunch of mac address filters. I have confirmed that it is turned off ( I just did it again-for the fourth time this...

DHCP keeps turing itself on?
Heya, I have purposely turned off DHCP at least 4 times now--it keeps turning itself on. and delivers the same 192.168.X.226 IP everytime to my laptop and the range is from 192.168.X.100 to, and I quote here, "NaN" that's all it says. Running latest Gargoyle on TPLink Archer C7 I know this...

Re: Help - one Firewall 2 AP's
Actually, I went back to scratch-reset to defaults-left in gateway mode WAN is completely disabled (I didn't see this menu at all, at all before the default reset, and in hindsight I am not one hundred percent certain that I reset to defaults after the firmware upgrade to Gargoyle---oops:-)set lan i...

Help - one Firewall 2 AP's
Hi, Im head-to-wall banging today and I'd appreciate some help. My setup is different I'll admit for a home user. I have one Smoothwall Express device, two wifi AP's and 3 unmanaged 8 port switches.
