Sorry, not using Gargoyle repeaters anymore.
You might open the original .ipk in 7zip and modify .control file by yourself.

Re: Mini Ping Watchdog
Ok, will do tomorrow.
Actually you can fix a package by yourself.
Grab a 7z-archiver and remove a dependency.

Re: static routing -about metrics
Sometimes metric is very useful.
For example, I got a backup ISP uplink : )
Check your routing table:Modify the route:

Re: Losing GUI access when wireless bridge/repeater mode selected.
Really wonder why a user should ever specify Bridge IP in v1.9.x. Looks like it is not routed and could be used just fo recovery purposes. Bridge IP input field is a source of mistakes and should be hidden by developers. Actual (Relay) IP is currenlty received via DHCP-client from uplink AP/Router. ...

Re: Tp-Link WA801ND V3 - can I flash with Gargoyle for V2?
Lucky for me my WA801NDv3 wasn't my first Gargoyle TP-Link. I've upgraded stock f/w to OpenWRT, then did upgrade to WR841Nv10 Gargoyle + restore an existing config. No serial needed. sysupgrade -f http://URL/backup_gargoyle.tar.gz -F http://URL/gargoyle_1.9.2-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v10-squashfs-sy...

Re: Lease Time
"Confiuration - DHCP - Static IPs" allows you to create a DHCP Reservation on a router, so a PC will still have auto IP settings, but IP won't ever change (while the device is inside your home/network).

Re: Mini Ping Watchdog
You can manually install the plugin just by creating the files yourself In case you miss the original Ping Watchdog plugin on your 4MB router (as I do).. I've modified http://www.gargoyle-router.com/packages/gargoyle-1.9.2/ar71xx/default/plugin-gargoyle-ping-watchdog_20131030_all.ipk (.tar.gz actua...

Re: Version 1.9.2
4MB routers are to small. Even with no plugins installed these routers are unstable with current firmware. Right because of that I urge developers to allow Ping Watchdog plugin (or even embed it in 1.9.3). Please, let the users try&decide by giving them a warning like: "Installing plugins ...

Weird registration in the forum
Hello there! I found it very difficult to register in the forum. Seems that drag&drop quiz requires every answer to be dragged in the correct space. I mean literally every one. In case the answer is already in the right place (first one) it still doesn't count (and registration form gives an err...
