Re: CIFS Share - Some upper-level folders are locked
Figured it out myself, but thanks for the response! I'd already flashed without using a backup - I don't usually use any sort of backup when using newer builds because I want to make sure I've got a clean slate to work with and setting everything up is pretty trivial. In case anyone is wondering, I ...

I've been using a CIFS share on an external ext4 USB drive for quite a while now with no issues, but somewhere along the line permissions got screwed up and I'm not sure how to address it. It seems I've lost the ability to modify the few top levels of folders in any way, for some reason. I've tried ...

Running it on an Archer C7 V2 and everything seems good so far. It's only been up for a total of 12 or so hours, but I haven't had any real issues. One thing I noticed, and I'm not sure if it's a known bug, but when setting up my Home VPN, I was unable to download the "package" file, which...

USB Storage/Ext4 Issues on Archer C7 with Gargoyle 1.9.2
As the title states, I'm having a few issues getting USB Storage to be properly recognized on an Archer C7 V2 with Gargoyle 1.9.2. My hard drive is a portable WD Elements, 1TB. When I format the hard drive via a Live USB (Either by the tool included with Ubuntu, or Gparted), it shows up properly in ...
