Re: Is comcast leeching my bits?
I'm a little surprised that this didn't concern you more. I've never seen external IPs in the connected hosts list before, with any firmware, ever. Maybe other FW just hides this information? In which case good for gargoyle for including it. If it is just gargoyle, there's something odd going on tha...

Re: propogation of domain and hostnames
As far as I can tell, the answer cannot be found within gargoyle. Reflashes of gargoyle and reinstalls of the pihole were unhelpful. First flash back to ddwrt and all my domain resolution problems disappeared. Which is a shame really. Garg does great QoS. Good luck guys. I wish you could have been o...

propogation of domain and hostnames
I'm having an issue where my router and pihole won't share domain and/or hostnames. This has been my focus for the last couple/three weeks and I am making no useful headway. I hope we can get it sorted here. Of those two devices, whichever is running DHCP also displays hostnames and can ping client ...

Re: Internet speed TP-Link TL-WDR3600 v1
I'm not at my home ATM, but as I recall, when you enable QOS there is a setting for maximum throughput measured in kbps somewhere near the bottom. The default kbps is quite low. You'll have to change that manually to better reflect your actual throughput on both upload and download qos pages. You sa...

Re: Need Help Identifying Aftermarket TP-link Wireless CPE with gargoyle loaded.
I'm sure I don't have a proper answer for you. The only hardware experience I've had has all been indoors with consumer grade equipment. I didn't know what a CPE was until I googled it. Interesting that it should be able to use Gargoyle. This suggests to me that probably its typical hardware but in ...

Re: ssh encryption woes
Got it figured out. Google doesn't let you share a single pic, just folders. Tinypic to the rescue.

Re: ssh encryption woes
I'll look into failsafe mode. I edited the pic link into an img tag instead of url and changed the link within to what I hope is the correct one. But all I see now instead of my screenshot is the word "Image". Its not even clickable. You did say the other post came up with a 404, and its a...

Is comcast leeching my bits?
A comcast IP shows up frequently in the list of Hosts With Active Connections.

If this is indeed comcast, I'm fairly certain there's no malfeasance underway. But it shouldn't be listed there. Should it?
