I'm quite annoyed by the lack of the reconnect button for PPPoE. I know that you can simply press save settings and then it will reconnect, but doing so is too intensive on the router.
Another nice addition would be connection uptime.

Not sure what you mean by 'intensive on the router' ?
You could probably have a scheduled reboot for the router.
I routinely reboot my routers - keeps em fresh, especially if
they are close to full on memory.

Intensive on the router because it has to overwrite the settings, and then re-execute the pppoe service.
