Gargoyle slower download speed then Luci or dd-wrt

Post by gogubeb »

Hi Eric,
I want to know if you have in plan to optimize gargoyle web interface to obtain the same download/upload speed as luci or dd-wrt interfaces?
With Luci and dd-wrt i can obtain a download speed from LAN-WAN 94.94 Mb/s and with gargoyle interface the same test server as luci and dd-wrt i can only obtain 65..67Mb/s download speed LAN-WAN.
I don't have QoS enbled.
It's a standard installation on a wrt160nl.
Thanks.

See this page:

and this one:

Couple other threads out there as well, I'll edit when I find them

Edit - found another one:

It is a known issue - not really an ISSUE per se.

More of a feature!

When using all the extra features that Gargoyle offers, the extra
processing required does slow down the max available bandwidth.
