Hi all, Might be a noob question but.... I previously was able to use sudo to be able to edit files via ssh but no more! I just get "-ash: sudo: not found" It might also be related to why I can't assign static IPs anymore they just vanish. What am I doing wrong? Gargoyle version 1.9.2 | Op...

Re: Upgrade. What happens to custom files?
Thanks. I can handle that. I think I only have five files so I will copy those off and go from there.

Re: Upgrade. What happens to custom files?
I see I omitted to mention I have a TL-WDR4300 so I am assuming it will be fine to upgrade the firmware straight to 1.9
Also I think I may not have understood Lantis' reply above. Are you saying that even if you use the upgrade option everything will be wiped?

Re: Router Speed tests
I have a TL-WDR4300 currently running Gargoyle 1.5.10 In the next few months my house is planned to receive a faster connection and I will probably pay for a 50/20 service. On another forum there was some scoffing (asus fanbois!) that my router won't cope with those speeds so just checking here whet...

Upgrade. What happens to custom files?
Hi Guys, Just a quick question. I am still running 1.5.10 and was thinking of upgrading to the latest version. I have some custom scripts and files that I work on over SSH. If I do an upgrade does every file get deleted and reinstalled or is there just an upgrade over the top? I know I need to use t...

Re: Redirect url to another. CNAME?
Yes I have added a new hosts file with all the google domains redirecting to forcesafesearch.google.com and then added a line to the dhcp config file under dnsmasq of "list addnhosts '/etc/redirect.google' and that seems to be working. Hope someone finds this useful in the future! Just note tha...

Re: Blocking tracking, ad, spyware sites from router
Hi Guys, tefflump firstly thanks for your efforts over on gist. I have that all up and working. However, I have noticed the hanging webpage problem which is an issue. I am wondering if redirecting to 0.0.0.0 is the problem? It seems quite a few of the problems are because some javascript is waiting ...
