====== Web Usage ====== ===== Introduction ===== Use Web Usage for reviewing websites that connected hosts are using and also recent web searches. Web searches will only be displayed if the clients is using a http search engine. ===== Web Monitor Preferences ===== Select how much and what to monitor ==== Enable Web Usage Monitor ==== Tick "Enable Web Monitor" to activate web usage monitoring ==== Number of Sites to Save ==== Select maximum number of web sites to log. When the log become full the oldest entry will be deleted to make space for any new entry. * Default = 300 ==== Number of Searches to Save ==== Select maximum number of web searches to log. When the log become full the oldest entry will be deleted to make space for any new entry. * Default = 300 ==== Select Hosts to monitor ==== Select which hosts to monitor, all, include or exclude. * Monitor all hosts * Monitor only hosts below * Exclude hosts below from monitoring When selecting hosts specify IP or IP Range. e.g. * 192.168.1.12 * 192.168.1.12-192.168.1.53 ===== Recently Visited Sites ===== Select how to display host website information (usually sites visited) either by IP address or host name. * Display Hostnames * Display Host IPs ===== Recent Web Searches ===== Select how to display host search information (e.g. Google search) either by IP address or host name. * Display Hostnames * Display Host IPs ===== Download Web Usage Data ===== Download web usage data in CSV format for further analysis. e.g. For use in a spreadsheet. * Click "Visited Sites" for visited sites data * Click "Search requests" for search request data Data is comma separated [Time of Last Visit],[Local IP],[Domain Visted/Search Request] The time unit is in Linux Epoch time.
