Hello,

Newbie question: does the latest version of Gargoyle work on the Linksys E3000 Dual-Band Wireless Router? If so, how should I install it? If not, is there an alternative open source firmware that might work on it?

Thank you very much.

BTW, here are its specs:

CPU Broadcom BCM4718 480 MHz
Flash ROM 8 MB
RAM 64 MB
Radio simultaneous 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz
WLAN Support a/b/g/n
WLAN Max Speed 300 mbps
Antenna Location Internal
Switch 4x GigE + 1 WAN
USB 1x USB 2.0

I believe it's not supported by Gargoyle or Openwrt either at this point.

Have a look here: http://tomatousb.org/forum/t-284328/alp ... -for-e3000

I was looking at upgrading to this router from my WRT54GL.

Has anyone tested Gargoyle on it?

Routers that support Gargoyle are not easy to find in Australia.

Hi All.

Is there any update on support for the E3000?

I've been using TomatoUSBv54 for some time now without any issues. I just miss Gargoyle and the per-client bandwidth usage goodness.

Thanks
