With Gargoyle all traffic which comes through the WAN connection is metered. All other traffic is not metered. There is no way to change this.

Computers which are connected to LAN ports on the router can talk to each other. Gargoyle is not the cause of such problems since it cannot prevent such computers from talkng. If a computer on the WAN port wants to talk to a computer on the LAN side then some port forwarding rules may be necessary. This varies depending on what program you are using.

MAC addresses cannot be used for QoS directly, however, on the DHCP screen you can use you MAC address to specific a fixed IP address for that computer. Then you can use that IP address in your QoS rules.

Bandwidth Monitoring for LAN traffic, and for Wireless interface, is certainly needed.

Using Gargoyle Router/AP as Internet Gateway is just one of usage scenarios.
I found it's quite easy to use Gargoyle to deploy WDS (AP+WDS mode)
Let' suggest uu have two Gargoyle routers connected via WDS.
And traffic comes from one router to another by wireless link (WDS).
WAN port is not used on both routers.
There is no possibility at a moment to monitor this WDS link, and how bandwidth is used.

Hope this can be added to releases in the future.
