There's a warning for this model saying 1.9.0 and earlier will brick it. Is 1.9.1 fixed?

Please use the latest 1.9.x. I know that it was fixed I just can't remember the exact version.

yup it works. I just flashed the lastest gargoyle-ipsy build on my 3day old archer c7 & after some nailbiting moments (I'm a real noob to all this flashing fw biznes :o ), I got 1.9.x on.

boy o boy, now I have a super stable c7! not quite sure if speeds have improved but no more resets or missing ssids!

needless to say, I'm super stoked. a big thanks to ipsy

I have 1.9.1 on the came archer c7 v2. Is this ok to have this firmware on the router? Should it say: Gargoyle version: 1.9.1 in the gargoyle backend? Or should it say 1.9.x?

I am having issues with my ethernet dropping connection to the gateway.
Maybe this is the reason why...

I have successfully installed 1.9.1 on an Archer c7 v2. So far, no problems, apart from an issue with userids/password on PPPoE, but I guess this is straightforward to fix.
