this version is not work correctly with IE8, i am have to configure using firefox

Yes, both the Beta4 and bleeding edge atheros images should work with a fon plus. Beta3 is the last release that had a special, separate firmware for the fon plus -- the default atheros images of later releases should now work fine on this device.
