Hi all

I am using Gargoyle Router Interface for 3 years and I am very happy it.

But there is a config that is I can not cover it.

My VDSL + IPTV BOX + Gargoyle Device config as follow.


From ISP I have VDSL Internet service and plus IPTV service.

The IPTV service has diffrent VLAN like below.

Gargoyle BOX just behing one of the Ethernet PORT of the VDSL Modem.( 4 port on it. ) The IPTV is connected the other ethernet port which one of the 4 port interface.

Modem has interrnal network : 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
IPTV get ip from the above class ip Say : 192.168.0.2

IPTV box connect TV cannels like rtp://239.254.1.x format.

When I connect the VDSL wifi I can use VideoLAN applicatin get the streaming ok.

But I cannot configure the gargoyle BOX.

Gorgoyle BOX IP : 192.168.1.1

I want to connect the gargoyle box wifi and get the stream from rtp://239.254.1.x

How can I configure it.

Can you access the modem from the gargoyle network?

Yes I can reach from gargoyle box network to VDSL network by means of ping and http ( VDSLmodem interface )

Then you should be able to access the iptv box by the same logic.
So what doesn't work?

That is I can not understand.

I can not get stream from (example) rtp://239.254.1.155.

When I connect to VDSL wifi there is no problem.

Bu if I connect to gargoyle box wifi then call the above rpt://... no work.

I can not understant.

Again

VDSL has 192.168.0.1 IP
IPBOX has 192.168.0.2 IP
Gargoyle BOX 192.168.0.3 Wan side . 192.168.1.1 WIFI / LAN side.

Gargoyle box wan side connected to VDSL 4 port ethernet sw and gets IP from VDSL DHCP (192.168.0.3)

Sounds like you may need to do a bit of manual configuration.

udpxy looks to be the easiest to set up.

I got the point.
