Hello all I am trying to find out if my Asus RTN-10P will support Gargoyle and how I would go about installing it. I have a teenage son and despite my constant squalling about data he will not stop streaming hd videos. Our ISP limits us to 200gb per month. We also have 2 other kids, one being Autistic and her thing is youtube. When my son isn't home we use about 3gb or so per day, but when he is home we are using 10-13 per day. The max we can use is 6gb per day and have enough for the month. If anyone can tell me if this is supported and how to go about doing it I would be very grateful. If this router cant support it and there is one out there that does and its around 30.00 dollars or so then please link me one, ive found several but the versions never match as they are newer routers then what was listed. Also below is the specs/info on that asus router if that helps.

Platform: Broadcom BCM5357
Target: brcm47xx
Instruction Set: MIPS32Sub
Instruction Set: MIPS32 74K series
CPU MHz: 320
Flash MB: 8
RAM MB: 32
WLAN Hardware: Broadcom BCM5357 (integrated)

That info is pulled from the OpenWRT page and shows that it does support OpenWRT. Thanks all for the help

Can you confirm that on the label for the router, somewhere it has the ID "FCC ID: MSQ-RTN10P"?

If so, it isn't currently supported, but I don't see why we couldn't support it. I could produce a test image for you, but there is no guarantees provided, and as with all third party firmware, bricking is always a possible outcome.

Yes that is the FCC ID on the bottom. I tried to upload an image but says the attachment quota has been reached.

Doesn't look promising.
It has less flash space than your original router.

Can you suggest a router that will work good with this that doesnt cost a lot. I have crawled all over the net but most of what i find is older routers that are hard to find, most not sold in the usa or the version is wrong. Ive flashed multiple routers with DD-WRT before but this seems like its much more complicated. I have found several tp link routers on new egg but i have no idea if they work with gargoyle.

Ordered a WD 750 today for 30 bux like new, should have it early next. Any chance you can link me a guide for that router or is it pretty straight forward like rest and upload a .bin file using the firmware upgrade tab.
