Access point no wan connection

Gidday fellow gargoyles I have an old pair of 3com wireless bridges see egasky website. I have configured one as gateway (access point) the other at the house as wireless bridge/repeater. The gateway is connected via lan to the Nbn ntd but it doesn't see a wan connection. Hoping someone can help.
On further investigation the router in the wifi bridge is a redwave 2458N using a Atheros/Aeromax chip I am currently logging in to the routers with gargoyle version 1.6.1 should I flash with https://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_cal ... pgrade.bin

What NTD technology are you on and what protocol have you set your gateway to?
Does the Internet work if you plug a computer directly into the NTD?

Thanks for the fast reply Lantis. I have a fixed wireless NTD
Gateway Settings (see screenshot)
I plug the laptop directly into the NTD, setup broadband connection and have internet access. :D
I then unplug lan from laptop and plug into poe lan switch.
I then connect to gateway ssid and no internet.

Ok.
Can we confirm the connection between the NTD and Gargoyle gateway?
You should have an Ethernet cable between the two, and on the gargoyle end it should be plugged into the WAN port.

Can you also check what IP range the NTD is using? You must use a different range if it is already on 192.168.1.x

Gidday Lantis Confirming the connection between the Ntd and Gargoyle Gateway.
I unplug the Ethernet cable from the poe switch and plug it into the laptop then setup broadband connection and have internet access. Then shut down laptop shut down Ntd, plug Ethernet back into poe, restart poe restart Ntd. There is only one port on the antenna/router which would be a Wan port.I am not sure what ip range the Ntd is using but from the cmd line it is 103.31.90.250 I hope this info helps. I appreciate your help. see pics.

Can you please provide a logread after waiting a minute for the gateway to try and establish the pppoe connection?

I'm a bit stumped at the moment.

That log isn't showing anything about pppoe either :(

Perhaps try saving your connection settings again to initiate a connection then grab the logread as well as a "dmesg"
