(I've tried searching, but search in here doesn't seem to like almost anything I give it - including USB 3.0, TP-Link 1900AC, and many other tries to avoid asking covered questions!)

I need a gigabit router, with AC wifi and USB 3.0 for my shared media disc. I know Linksys WRT1900AC would be a good choice. Was hoping I could use TP-Link 1900AC - but that does not appear to be supported yet - is that correct?

Sorry - so many hardware platforms, and so many router variants ... want to be sure before replacing current router.

Any other suggestions for a great Gargoyle compatible router with a minimum of 1 USB 3.0 would be appreciated.

Unless you pick something with a powerful CPU, usb3 will be choked and give almost zero improvement over USB 2.
