dd-wrt -> Gargoyle

I've got a TPLINK TL-WDR3600 v1 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std and I'm trying to upgrade to Gargoyle 1.9.1 via the dd-wrt GUI. Based on my research, I think I need to use:
gargoyle_1.9.1-ar71xx-generic-alfa-ap96-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin as the Gargoyle firmware update file. When I select the file, it looks like the router is doing its thing but it dumps me back to dd-wrt. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi mate the file you need is gargoyle_1.9.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr3600-v1-squashfs-factory.bin

Thanks for the help but still no joy. I tried both gargoyle_1.9.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr3600-v1-squashfs-factory.bin and when that didn't work, gargoyle_1.9.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wdr3600-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin but after the saying the update is successful it drops me back to dd-wrt.

When the article talks about openwrt just replace the openwrt file with the file for Gargoyle.

I have a netgear wndr3700v4 with DDwrt (22118) installed.
I want to put gargoyle on it, but no sucsess using the gargoyle_1.12.0-ar71xx-nand-wndr3700v4-squashfs-sysupgrade.tar
looks like it flash but only reboots with dd wrt. Anyone with tips ?
