Mobile User Interface?

I realise that this would involve a lot of work but has any thought been given to creating a "mobile edition" of the user interface?
People are spending increasing amounts of time on their smart phones nowadays.
It would also benefit those of us that would like to support Gargoyle more but are out and about for most of the day :)

I've used the Gargoyle interface on my Blackberry 9700. One has to keep zooming in to see anything, but it seems to work and I can select things to view. Except the graphs. I'd imagine that there are a lot of variables here depending on the smartphone display, OS, etc. The latest iPhone and Android displays are indeed getting so good, Gargoyle might not need too much reformating.

Perhaps someone in the forum is an expert on mobile browser web design and can advise.

I'm adding a picture so users can see what I'm talking about.
Found this useful resource on Mobile Web Design: http://www.w3.org/Mobile/
I've found that sites designed specifically for mobile devices display quite acceptably on larger screens too. (see: http://www.instantshift.com/2010/04/09/ ... -and-tips/.

I think I can say this not a priority for me or Eric.
Perhaps someone else would like to take up the challenge.
