Hi all,
I have a router that came with OpenWRT 12.09 already installed but really need Gargoyle as I face the usage scenario described in the Wiki of capped monthly imternet and teenagers that can't control their consumption of data.

The router specs look like they should be up to it:
www.zbtlink.com/products/router/ZBT-WE1626.html

I can't find any reference to this router searching the site so figure I will have to do a custom build.
This is very new territory for me so any advice will be gratefully received.

Am I right in thinking that I can essentially build the full set of packages for the mt7620n architecture?

set gateway 192.168.1.1
set dns 192.168.1.1

On my WE1626 the two alternatives suggested by dragonmax work just fine for v1.10.0. I have had the router running as an access point for a month using the second of the two firmware files listed below.

gargoyle_1.10.0-ramips-mt7620-xiaomi-miwifi-mini-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

gargoyle_1.10.0-ramips-mt7620-wt3020-8M-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

As always Gargoyle just works :D

I have a zbt WE826-T2 with an old LTE module usually recognized as an hostless modem by others firmwares.

I tried Gargoyle thanks to that post and it works !!! :o :D

I used the first link.
