is this the guide I should follow for installing rtorrent on this router

Besides the fact some of your commands are typed incorrectly, it won't work anyway.
LUCI is the GUI for Openwrt.
Gargoyle uses its own GUI.
You'll have to configure rtorrent from the command line.
If it works well you might like to develop a gargoyle plugin for it

how should I install it then ?
I have no issue with configuring rtorrent from command line.
I think rtorrent has it's own GUI in rutorrent ?

I moved over to openwrt, it was simple just downloaded sysupgrade file from following link and flashed for gui
https://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_cal ... x/generic/
Now I can't find the .rtorrent.rc in root directory

if you reflashed your router with openwrt then you'll have to start at step 1 again as the filesystem will have been overwritten

Yes I did all the steps, and it installed successfully i.e I can see the Torrent tab in interface along with the sub tabs. Now the problem is I can't find the configuration file

I now have to port it back this as a Garogoyle plugin. any help with that ?
