Better than that, those instructions tell you how to find settings that work for you. Everyone's settings are slightly different.

This is how I configure LOL and CS:GO in my QoS,
I'm using a TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 / Gargoyle v1.8.1
my internet speed
Upstream Speed : 637 kbps
Downstream Speed : 5407 kbps
CS:GO - DOWNLOAD

CS:GO - UPLOAD

I used the 10.0.1.1/29 so I won't create individual rule for each IP. and as you can see at the service classes "Game" i just gave it 2048 because I got lazy and other devices plays other games, but you can calculate how much bandwidth those games uses so that you can specify them.. ACC is also active :) , I also used what lantis posted as reference back then.

On the CS:GO ports I used 27000-28999, this is likely a double edge sword, because if something download and uses a port within that 27000-28999 range on the 10.0.1.1/29 IP range it will be classified as "Game" it may mess up the network(again i'm lazy to tinker with their devices and just pray it will not mess things up), but you can dedicate a clientport for each device, and use the dedicated port instead.

This isn't the best configuration , and yes too many rules but it works perfectly fine for me. try experimenting you'll surely get it right :D hope this helps :)

You dont need that large of a port range for csgo just use 27005 cuz csgo has a client port and a server port the client port being your pc's port and the server port the server port can be changed to any port matter of fact but the client port ranges from 27000-27015 default is 27005 for very source game so use that but this time instead of using destination port for upload and source port for download use source port for upload and destination port for download and it will detect csgo along with other source based valve games no matter the server port or anything else as to specify all ip you dont have to do that if you leave it blank it will automatically apply to all ip's on your local network

How is your experience with the WDR4300 ? I found that it really didn't work well at all and i had to resort to buying another router instead.

@greyfreak yup it's true I don't need to use that much port. but for some reason the default port or assigned client port is not being classified but when i use ranged port it worked and everything's working fine :D

@pkm after v1.8.1was installed on WDR4300 , everything is performing really well, I haven't encountered any problems yet. :)
