Story short:

Firmware 1.9.0

I wasnt home for one week and it looks like router boot and then reboot (dont know why). Router is up for couple of seconds.


So i copy org firmware back to tmp, ssh in, and use mtd -r write. But the mtd never finishes because router reboot in the middle od writing bin.

Now the power light is on, no sys light, ethernet is working and give me ip 169.254.52.155 and subnet 255.255.0.0 .


Now what can i so next? (Ssh and telnet not working, i try static ip 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1)

Put it into failsafe and restore it that way. If the mtd command only partially completed you could be in a spot of bother.

U mean power off, hold reset button, power on?

Or something else? I cannot get sys light to lit up.

I think mtd was not completed, so probably broken router.

you have to keep tapping the button as the router boots to get in to safe mode. good luck
