Gargoyle package install

Is it possible to install Gargoyle as a package into an OpenWRT router ?
I've been using ROOter, another OpenWRT variant that does an excellent job of managing dongles and mobile connections, for a couple of years now. I've recently had a look at Gargoyle on a spare router and think that, for my use anyway, it would complement ROOter as I'd then have control of a metered connection.
I understand I could use Gargoyle as an AP with ROOter simply handling the modem, but for me that would add a third router to the setup. My AP is currently a Tomato based device that also does some NMEA multiplexing on serial devices.
If it can be done I'd like to combine Gargoyle and ROOter into one device but I understand there may an incompatibilty in the UI. ROOter uses Luci and Gargoyle its own UI.
Thoughts ?
Thanks ... Robbie
