5ghz to 2.4ghz Wireless Bridge Repeater

Hi everyone,

I did a search on this but found many unanswered questions, so I thought I would ask again.

I am using a WZR-600DHP and I would like to use the 5ghz to wirelessly bridge to the 2.4ghz. I would then use the 2.4ghz as my wireless ap.

At present I can do this with DD-WRT but not Gargoyle. When I try to do it with Gargoyle it only allows me to do a wireless bridge on the 2.4ghz OR 5ghz, not connecting both.

Any ideas?

I bet you can configure this manually using SSH/telnet.
It is probably supported by the Openwrt underneath but the Gargoyle web UI simply have not implemented the web interface.

You can do this manually at the command line, but no it is not a feature you can configure by default.

thank you for the speedy reply!

I ended up using LEDE and setting up Client(WDS) + AP(WDS)
