Is it possible to move an Internet and Telephone modem without screwing up the Internet and Telephone lines? I have an XBox 360, and I want to move my modem to another room to connect it to the 360. Is it possible to move the modem, from one room to another, and still the get the internet and telephone?

IS this a cable-modem?

Or a DSL modem?

The answer is 99% yes - unless there is some screwed up wiring
or some type of special connection where it currently is, you should
not have any issues moving it around the house.

If this is a DSL modem - as long as you take the dsl adapter and
connect it to a working phone jack - it should not have an issue.

If this is a cable-modem - is this an Arris modem with the
Phone jacks and cable connection for internet?

This combo is a little trickier because it can depend how many
phone lines you have in use.

If you are using both phone lines, you need to make sure that
the room you connect it in, has a working 2-line jack available.

Also, Arris modems have a battery backup - you need to pull
that battery out and do a full power-cycle when you disconnect
and re-connect it to make sure the internet works properly.

Feel free to PM me if you need more help or have questions
on the Arris modem - I have one myself and am very familiar
with it - never had DSL - hopefully someone else chimes in on that.
