upgrade to gargoyle

I currently have a backfire openwrt installation on my WR-1043ND which has been customised extensively as a awesome media server.
I would love to switch from luci to gargoyle as I need the wireless bridge "hack"
I dont have 2mb free due to luci and the usb packages though..... little help?
