The "all hosts" does not work with firewall restrictions.
I can get it to work with the "only the following hosts".
ROUTER: TL-WR1043ND V3
Gargoyle: 1.8.1 using a user supplied bin file to support v3.
see this post for info:

I also see that Chrome isn't blocked by url based restrictions.
But IE and FF are subject to url based restrictions. I guess I need some kind of proxy to see what Chrome is sending out. The chrome dev tool shows no modification of url, but I suspect it is changing it before it actually sends out the request.
Restriction bug still exists as described, just sharing my testing experience.

Url restrictions definitely work in chrome.
You're not dealing with HTTPS websites are you?

Thank you! I did not notice that FF was promoting yahoo.com to https, and that chrome was promoting both yahoo and youtube to https.
That really messed up my testing. I just verified that "all hosts" works when using only http. Standing down, THERE IS NO "all hosts" BUG.
The desire was to block youtube for the younger kids. Guess I'll need to figure out another way.
