bricked my new router trying to install an image with the xxclient in it... can anyone tell me how to get it back going again... cant ping it or see it at all... even wireshark doesnt see traffic...

Try triggering failsafe mode.
Google "openwrt failsafe".
Otherwise you'll need to use a more drastic recovery method

ok well I tried several methods from the openwrt but still I cant get into the router what other "more drastic" options do I have ?

good reading I went ahead and ordered the developer console with the serial setup... Maybe I wont have to jtag it if I do oh well... Just wanted to say thanks for heading me in the right direction...

well it looks like I have managed to put a pretty good brick in this little router... I now have it where I cant even get into uboot... anyone have any Ideas how to get a good flash on it so I can maybe get uboot back ..I am trying to use the serial console and was in fact in it .I had trpouble writing the correct flash or even finding it so I assume I wrote a bad flash for this router... anyway any help is appriciated...

Try the openwrt forums. This is their area of knowledge more than gargoyle.
