MR3201A - serial port for control
Hi All,
I wish to use the serial port to control some external stuff but the boot messages are going to get in the way.
What options are available to silence the boot process ?
I considered the idea of using a GPIO line to control an external hardware mux to redirect the channel to the device being controlled when boot is complete, but the unit will still send out unsolicited messages when alarms / warnings are generated by the OS.
Another option is to use an external I2C/serial bridge - are any I2C divers available ?
Thanks,
Mark
