Well, i built the x86 image and got no reply from the person who requested it. Pretty annoying.
Please pm me if you want to test it otherwise i'll leave it unreleased.

I'm going to start on the EA series of routers now.

Router Model: Linksys EA4500 / E4200 v2
Link to Openwrt wiki: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/linksys/ea4500
Is it supported in Openwrt? Yes
Does it have >= 4MB of flash? Yes, 128MiB
Does it have >= 8MB of flash? Yes, 128MiB
Does it have USB support? Yes'

Cheers in advance!
tapper wrote: As of r47458 the E4200v2 and EA4500 are completely supported. These boards are identified by the codename "Viper."
Build with:
◾
Target System → "Marvell Kirkwood"
◾
Target Profile → "Generic" or "Linksys E4200v2 / EA4500 (Viper)"
◾
Target Images → squashfs
This will produce the images:
openwrt-kirkwood-linksys-viper-squashfs-factory.bin
openwrt-kirkwood-linksys-viper-squashfs-sysupgrade.tar
The factory.bin image can be flashed from the Linksys interface. Upgrading between OpenWrt images is done with the sysupgrade.tar image. If firmware installation fails on linksys firmware, try renaming the file to .img extension.

There seems to be a wifi driver bug.

These kirkwood devices are not fully supported in Chaos Calmer. I had a go at producing images but I don't feel very comfortable with them. As a result i won't be doing any further images for these, and i will not be attempting the ea3500. They should be easy to do under Designated Driver where they are fully supported.

Real bummer tho i just got one off ebay lol!

Can you tell me why you don't feel very comfortable with them? There is people on the openwrt forums that say they have cc installed.

I can't find any evidence of that?
There are devices which are using "ssa" images but I've never heard of it and have no idea how to produce one. It looks like I would need a fully custom makefile which I would then have to patch gargoyle back in to. Doesn't sound like a good time.
I can produce an image for you but it won't be a simple flash you'd have to load it over serial.
If you go to
http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/ea4500
You can see the absolute mess of files the build spat out for the EA4500. None of them are a factory or sysupgrade image. It's all raw images to be first loaded into ram and then flashed from there.

Don't fancy trying to load files from ram haha

I'll work through them in the order you posted. It's quite a slow process! Takes on average 4-6 hours per custom build. I only just finished looking at the two that were queued before yours.
I'm also unable to run builds overnight because it disturbs my sleep lol.

You're welcome to try it yourself as well though it's not very difficult :)
Read the documentation on the website.

Much appreciated Lantis,
I was simply wondering if these were on your list of to do's... ;)

I can wait as I don't know enough to start building firmware images yet. Maybe sometime in the near future... :)

I'll try and work through these but my time is quite limited currently as I started a new job.
