does it change if you make the change and then the router reboots?

If I reboot the router only the domain changes, the hostname doesn't.

I have TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1 and Gargoyle 1.8.1

With the stock firmware the speed is up to 95 - 90 Mbps and with Gargoyle 1.8.1 download 83 / upload 73 Mbps (from "to" 100 Mbps provided).

Can you tell me please about "full duplex", how to enable ?
(Don't wanna change from B.B. to C.C.)

Thanks !
TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v1

Any news on the next version? I have some new hardware that I'd like to run a stable version of Gargoyle on (TP-Link WR-841ND v10 and TP-Link WR1043ND V3) that are waiting on the next version.

841 is unlikely to be supported. Too little flash space.

The other router is in the show and tell forum.

I know the TP-Link TL-WR841N v10 comes in a chinese version which indeed has a woeful 1mb of flash, but the international version has 4mb of flash, like previous versions.

Info here: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd

As for the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, thanks, I'll take a look in the forum for now.

4mb is too small as of 1.9.0. It causes massive instability.
There have been sone suggestions to fix this, but it guts the firmware quite a bit.

Oh, good to know. I'll try to avoid routers with 4mb of flash from now on, and just use the 841n as basic APs with stock firmware. I'll try to get the TL-WR842N from now on.

Hello! Please help me configure IPTV. The firmware itself I found nothing. Router Archer C7 firmware 1.9.0. Changed providers and had the TV only IPTV. Tried the manuals to do through WinSCP and Putty, but nothing happens, and I'm not a programmer. The operator gives the setting only for the standard firmware. Help, if possible.

Which gargoyle will work the best (in terms of speed & stability) with this version?
I am using:
TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ver. 1.6 using Gargoyle
1.9.X (Built 20160124-1820 git@bd9e63e)

and it is working just fine.
D-Link DIR-835 Rev. A1 using Gargoyle
1.9.X (Built 20160524-1903 git@004a64c)

TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ver. 1.6 using Gargoyle
1.9.1

TP-Link TL-WR740N Ver. 1.10 using Gargoyle
1.9.1
