Gargoyle is amazing!

I have lived with both Tomato and DD-wrt for the last 4 years or so. They were great but neither did both the jobs I wanted them to do. But they were reliable.
Fast forward, I bought a couple of N 450mbps routers and or course they sucked, reboots, dropped packets, freezing. tp-link wdr-4300
I parked them for a year because I got frustrated with them.
Pulled them both from storage two weeks ago and thought, oh, well, out of warranty so let's experiment.
I first flashed OpenWrt as it appeared the easiest for an initial flash. I did not like it at all. The interface was uncomfortable to me.
I was worried about reverting from OpenWrt as their wiki was so involved. I eventually after worrying for days about bricking it just flashed the cut firmware from here. (thanks Paul). No brick.
Then I had weird experiences with ddwrt. Some builds had the features I needed working, some builds broke them. Nice product and full featured but not my cup of tea. Was about to park the routers AGAIN when I Google showed me Gargoyle. THe Openwrt thing bugged me a bit but I thought I could flash out easy enough as I did before.
WOW. From the moment I entered Gargoyle and saw the features it was like, YES, YES, YES. Everything I NEED is here.
I have a guest network isolated from my network with everyone isolated from each other and I can throttle users to a fixed bandwidth speed. WOW. And it was easy to implement.
No hiccups, drops, freezes, reboots or any ugly activity after 4 hours of intense load. I mean intense, my DSL line was maxed out with Netflix, Youtube, the torrent freaks here and I was moving huge amounts of stuff around the lan connected at 300mbps.
Thanks so much guys, you've made a convert and someone who will preach Gargoyle to the world
Cheers
