my tp-link 720n have 16m flash and 64m RAM，but can not install usb storage plugin .it notice me no depency package. i also google and down this package,but it compatiable . please help me. this problem also exist among 1.7.0~1.8.0

The standard wr720n appears to come with only 4MiB RAM so the plugin is excluded from the build. Is yours an new version or has it been modified?

Ye,I had modifed it .So I wish install usb storage plugin.
while I use putty install usb storage plugin ,tell me kmod-fs-nfsd can not be found
while install kmod-fs-nfsd，kmod-fs-sunrpc-auth-rpcgss can not be found
while install kmod-fs-sunrpc-auth-rpcgss,can not be found
althoung I google kmod-fs-sunrpc-auth-rpcgss,it's nothing.
So I ask for help .

Why don't you install the Storage Plugin using the gargoyle GUI?

Gargoyle - System - Plugins - Refresh Plugins
Gargoyle - System - Plugins - plugin-gargayle-usb-storage - Install

of course ，try it too many times，always fail

can you provide the output of logread immediately after attempting to install the storage plugin from the GUI please?

either install the logread plugin or login to the router and type logread at the Gargoyle command prompt.

I wish someone who can compile 16M flash firmware with usb plugin for 720n.
And there are more powerful bootloader than U-boot which called Breed

a closed source bootloader? no thanks. who knows what has been put in there.

you could compile the firmware yourself.

thank you very much. I will upload to dropbox another day shared with my gargoyle friend.
I try to compile by myself,however ,because of GFW,I cannot download source code perfectly,always failed.Thus ask for help who can compile 16M flash firmware with usb and openvpn plugin.Thank you reply to me

That is a shame, i feel sorry for you having to deal with the GFW.

Unfortunately what you ask is quite complicated. Maybe someone will take it on, but it is not straight forward.
