I'm pretty sure that TP-LINK WDR-4300 is well fast enough...
It can easily max out my line on stock firmware WITHOUT HW NAT.
Besides, I find pretty dumb to "solve" everything just by using HW brute force.

In such a case, here's some things you might be interested in:

Please keep me appraised of any progress you make on your HWNAT implementations and/or speeding up the software NAT. I'd be glad to see someone helping the developers to solve this problem.

Don't know how hard it would be but you think maybe we can get support for the Xiaomi Miwifi Mini on Gargoyle 1.9.X ? It's got an official stable Chaos Chalmer release for it, but I like Gargoyle way more! :D

I've upgraded TL-WR1043ND v1.6 from 2015-October-12 18:41 CC build to this version (bwmon disabled, settings preserved) and got bootloop. Each reboot router was responsive for about 20 seconds with CPU load much above 1.00. I've managed to ssh into it and issued firstboot and reboot -h commands restoring normal operation.

I smell sarcasm here...
Are you another one that thinks that everybody on this planet is a developer and that only developers have the right to use stuff like Gargoyle or XY-WRT? :(

You can bet that if I had the programming skills, I would have done that already...

Pretty sure Lantis is not implying that this is a developers only party. Everyone has the 'right' to use free software. It's free. What you're asking for is simply not possible with existing resources.
