Odd but repeatable wifi bridge 5ghz bug

Hi guys, I signed up just to report this lovely little bug.
The setup: wireless bridge between two routers (in this case both WNDR3800) on stock Gargoyle 1.8.0, the "OUTER" router is plugged directly to cable internet and doesn't matter much. The INNER router is bridged over wifi and uses all 5 ethernet ports, WAN port is bridged to the other 4.
On the INNER router all plugged-in hosts can communicate between each other if the wireless bridge to OUTER is 802.11g and WDS. If the wireless bridge is Client Bridge and on 802.11a then everybody can connect to internet but it's like isolation mode is enabled for the host on INNER's WAN port, it simply can't see anything else on the local network.
So if you're not using the WAN port on your remote and Client Bridge on 802.11a then you'll never see this problem. Happy to provide more details if anybody needs 'em.
